Gasket set, engine overhaul for MerCruiser 2.8 ltr. marine diesel engines

Engine overhaul gasket set for MerCruiser diesel engines. Fits Vancini and Martelli (VM48B) produced 2.8 ltr. marine diesel engines. Includes the following components: • Cylinder head gaskets (MLS, multi-layer-steel) • Exhaust manifold and turbocharger gaskets. • Intake manifold gaskets. • Oil pan gaskets. • O-ring kit. • Copper washer kit. • Cylinder liner adjustment shims. • Other gaskets that is needed for engine overhaul such as fuel pump gaskets and other pipe gaskets. Please note this new generation cylinder head gaskets are made of multi layer steel and replaces the single cylinder head type gasket. It is important that the cylinder head support pedestal plate (part no: 2233008) height is controlled and replaced if needed, please consult the technical bulletin if needed. Fits the following MerCruiser engine models: • MerCruiser D2.8 ltr. D-tronic 165 (gen 2, with newer cylinder head type - check the exhaust gasket as key, it must use part no 22032249)
